Charice - As Long As You're There - Glee Finale Season 2
OMC.. Oh My Charice... Listen to Charice's piece at the Finale of Glee Season 2. She sounds flawless. Listening to this song gave me chills.. I just love it when she sings power ballad.

All my life I've waited for the right
Moment to let you know
I don't wanna let you go
But now I realize there's just no perfect time
To confess how I feel
This much I know is real
So I refuse to waste one more second without you
Knowing my heart
Baby, 'cause I don't need anything else but your love
Nothing but you mean a thing to me
I'm incomplete
When you're not there
Holding me, touching me
I swear all of the rest could just disappear
I wouldn't even care
As long as you're there
Take these words
Don't let them go unheard
This is me reaching out
I hope you can hear me now
'Cause, baby, my heart's at stake
Take it , it's yours to break
I'd rather try and lose
Than keep this love from you
So I refuse to waste one more second without you
Knowing my heart
Baby, 'cause I don't need anything else but your love
Nothing but you mean a thing to me
I'm incomplete
When you're not there
Holding me, touching me
I swear all of the rest could just disappear
I wouldn't even care
As long as you're there
Each day and night that i kept this a secret
It killed me
It's time to share what I feel inside
I don't need anything else but your love
Nothing but you means a thing to me
I'm incomplete
When you're not there
Holding me, touching me
I swear all of the rest could just disappear
And I wouldn't even care
As long as you're there
As long as you're there
As long as you're there
Share
Moment to let you know
I don't wanna let you go
But now I realize there's just no perfect time
To confess how I feel
This much I know is real
So I refuse to waste one more second without you
Knowing my heart

I wish the best for Charice!

The Glee cast may have come up empty handed at the 2011 Grammy Awards due to lacking of original song. But this song will definitely get Glee Cast a grammy award next time around.

There are some incorrect parts to the lyrics.. The words in place in some of the lines are bad grammar or don't make sense in the context of the song and some of them completely skew the meaning of the verses.
It's "my heart's (at stake), take it, it's your to break" (not "says stay, everyone seems to think the lyrics are “my heart says stay” but that’s not what she says and makes no sense.. Not even in the figurative sense. The song’s about her (the person singing) trying to finally show what she feels about this other person.. personifying her heart isn’t right in this context; the delivery is much more poetic (and actually makes sense) when her heart’s “at stake” because in truth it is. She is offering her heart to someone whom she’s not sure shares the same feelings, which is why the next line, which makes it clear in context with the previous line, says “take it, it’s your to break.” Her heart is at the mercy of the person she loves: she can’t help feel the way she feels but isn’t sure what the other person feels, so she’s scared about what will happen. Saying that her heart says stay doesn’t even fit the song because it never said that the person is leaving, just that she doesn’t want to “let you go” as in: I’m scared to have to share my feelings but if it’s the only way to not let you fall in love with someone else, then I’m going to tell you how I feel.)
"To confess how (I) feel" (It wouldn't make sense if it was "you" because it's the singer who wants to show the other person how she feels, plus she doesn't even say "you," you can hear "I.")
"All of the rest (could) just disappear" ("Would" isn't appropriate, it does not make sense in what she's trying to say, if everything else "could" just disappear, she "wouldn't" even care is sound grammar.)
""Nothing but you mean(s) a thing to me"
"It killed me" (It'd <-- is a contraction for It would or could (or had, but that's obviously wrong). Would or could is wrong grammar because it's not a conditional statement; the correct tense should be passive, because she's talking about the past nights and days, meaning that kill should be in the past tense.

Mostly, I agree with you. But not on 2 points.
(1) I believe the subject of the sentence "Nothing but you mean a thing to me" is "you" and not "Nothing" - so the verb form is plural; "you mean to me" is the essence of the sentence and is correct.
(2) "It'd kill me" or "It would kill me" is more poetic. "It killed me" means the singer is finished, done, kaput, dead. "It would kill me" is conditional and not only more poetic but also more realistic.

I agree with you on (2) as yours still makes sense but I would agree with Rf on (1) as you can state that same phrase and send the same message across as "Nothing means a thing to me but you" ...that's why the lyrics are dramatic and very meaningful.
I thought the lyrics were right. I didn't bother to check them. I was just going by the message of the song and the way I hear them.
But thanks to both of you for your insights on the lyrics' corrections, specially Rj; and of course, to ChariceMusic.

I've seen songs that is worse than what you are saying especially rock music, so why make a long comment now. Some people waste their time digging just to show how great they are. That is a fantastic song, don't sang by fabulous girl. Go Charice
