Charice is amazing! I saw her on Oprah with David Foster, who actually is a friend of my families. He told my dad that we needed to watch, we had no idea that Charice was going to be on the show with him, we hadn't heard of her before then. Since then, my parents have tried to get her for entertainment for one of my dad's conferences, but she has been hard to schedule. Someday I hope, I'll be at that conference for sure.

Article of Alfie Lorenzo in Abante-Tonite translated in English by JaYrox

"Charice, being pulled down by cheap, worthless writers"

Some senseless reporters still won't stop. They wonder why Charice had, of all places,
chosen the Philippines to snub her fellow countrymen? Did they get offended by it?
How about when Charice was still unknown around the world? Who were the first to snub Charice?
Were they not these reporters who are now the ones who put forth these demands?
Just remember that in that contest that Charice was a part of, it was Sam Concepcion that they made the winner!
And Charice went on her own to find her place in the sun. Now that she found it, how come these cheap,
worthless reporters, whose careers never progress, are the ones who demand for her to follow what they want?
We already told them that the people in-charge of Charice's security were just following instructions from Oprah, who has also given instructions that (the surname) Pempengco no longer be used.
And Charice followed the orders of her manager. Even if Charice also gets snubbed by her Filipino fans,
she earns more in dollars abroad anyway! Who cares? She's already up there.
And her fellow Filipinos are the ones pulling her down?!
What will Vice Ganda do when he calls and waves at Oprah at Hollywood Blvd. and Oprah in turn snubs him?
Who do they think they are? Bernard Cloma who insists he is a friend of Celine Dion? Hahahahaha!!!
You unknowns make me laugh, huh?!
