Lea Salonga was on her own when she became an international celebrity, there was no Oprah on her side, she is very talented. The gay emcee should not compare the two Lea and Charice, they have different a medium and talent. Anyway that's how most gay emceee in the Philippines make a living.

Good point Elbiz...and during Lea's time..there were also no youtube nor facebook nor twitter nor any social networking site where she can communicate with her fans easily and promote herself worldwide. Back then fans have no other ways on showing support to their idol but to go to the concert and buy their album.
