Some fans have voiced their concern on Charice's security during her past mall shows in the Philippines. Some says that Charice should stop acting like a candidate running for President in a national election,shaking hands with fans, getting her pictures taken. Some fans have also asked if these mall shows really help Charice and if Charice really needs to do this. 

Mall Show in Philippines is very common. It is one of the best public relations tools they used for providing direct contact and interaction between celebrities and fans. It is an up close and personal form of communications. These kind of shows will not cease and will continue to thrive as long as the public support are there.

As far as security is concern, remember Frank Farmer, the character in the 1992 Hollywood movie The Bodyguard, played by Kevin Costner? Frank Farmer took up the challenge of protecting Rachel Marron,  a pop star,played by Whitney Houston, and one of Charice's favorite singer. He leaves no stone unturned to shield her from a stalker.

Celebrities like Charice endure these  same security concerns from paparazzi and stalkers and threats that come from lunatic fans. But we must remember, celebrities rely on being in the public eye to stay on top of their career. They want to interact with their fans, so they must be somewhat accessible to the point where they can shake hands with their fans.

I am not saying that those concerns are not valid.  But i am confident that Charice 's security team is aware of all these concerns and threats. I hope that they are doing their job to keep Charice safe and making sure Charice feels relaxed and comfortable and able to get on with her job inspite of any threats.

As I have seen from her performances, Charice is very likeable  and Charice 's desire to interact with her fans is genuine. I like the way Charice make fans feel comfortable with her, going out of her way, walking towards thecrowd, who wanted to take pictures  with her and shake hands with her.I like how Charice appreciates the fans. I admire Charice's humbleness despite of her status as the Most Talented Girl in The World. She's really the best!
